Sunday Week 7 Top-Performer of the day: Zach Edwards

The ELF is peppered with talented players who demonstrate their skills week in, week out and come into focus for the top performer of the day award. This Sunday, another group of candidates emerged. 

Quarterback Zach Edwards, who plays for the Paris Musketeers, was particularly impressive. He also became the first player in ELF history to pass for over 10.000 passing yards in his career (to read more about Edwards click here). 

Paris have their eyes on the playoffs

Paris defeated the Hamburg Sea Devils 41-18 and the veteran played a big part in that. Edwards kept the Hamburg defense on its toes and played an almost flawless game. Through the air, he completed 20 of his 26 passes for 213 yards and three touchdowns. he regularly showed off his determination and accuracy and didn't let the pressure get to him. 

He also showed his skills as a runner on several occasions, collecting 47 rushing yards and two more touchdowns. Edwards thus underlined his claim to the MVP award and is heading for the playoffs with Paris.
