Top performers of week 7: Key players lead their franchises to victory

Ravens trio unstoppable

Chad Jeffries, Malik Stanley, and Tomiwa Oyewo showcased their full potential on Saturday against the Barcelona Dragons. Jeffries impressed with six touchdown passes and 295 passing yards. Oyewo and Stanley each contributed three touchdowns. Malik Stanley was unstoppable for the Dragons' backfield, catching three touchdowns for 114 yards. Oyewo, besides his receiving skills that netted him two touchdowns and 74 receiving yards, also demonstrated his rushing ability. He added 57 rushing yards and one touchdown on just three carries, helping the Ravens improve their record to 3-3.

Quarterbacks show their dual threat ability

Quarterbacks Carlton Aiken Jr. and Zach Edwards led their teams to victory with their dual-threat abilities. Aiken Jr. threw for only 83 yards and one touchdown, but he was unstoppable on the ground with 115 rushing yards and a touchdown, leading the Mercenaries to their first win of the season. Zach Edwards has been in playoff form since the start of the season. Just like in the first matchup against the Sea Devils, Edwards excelled both through the air and on the ground. He threw for three touchdowns and ran for two more, marking him as a serious MVP contender. Edwards also set two records: he is the first quarterback in ELF history to surpass 10,000 passing yards and 100 passing touchdowns, showcasing his exceptional talent.

Obi and Toonga shine again

These two players are simply incredible. Week after week, they deliver outstanding performances and lead their teams to victory, as they did this week. Dwayne Obi, playing with his Madrid Bravos against the Frankfurt Galaxy, provided excellent support for his quarterback Steven Duncan. Obi rushed for 82 yards and one touchdown, and he was also the team's leading receiver with 85 yards on six catches, bringing the Bravos back to winning ways. Glen Toonga needs no introduction. He is one of the favorites for the MVP title. In the game against the Cologne Centurions, Rhein Fire's running game, particularly Toonga, was dominant. Although Toonga wasn't the top rusher of his team with his 116 rushing yards, he contributed significantly with four rushing touchdowns. This performance brings Toonga's season totals to 974 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns.
